I fear that the drivers I have now are the latest.at least for my PC. I'm not expert in AMD cards, I'm Nvidia user, sorry. The AMD drivers I have are still the 8.9 version.ĭo I have to give up and try to test all the graphic plugins for ePSXe ever created until one works decently?Īt least the Dolphin emulator for FFIV The After Years now is working at full speed.better than nothing.

I don't know if there is a more manually way to update them.but maybe the new drivers aren't compatible with my laptop and that's why it keeps saying that they are up to date.
#WGL EXTENSIONS ERROR EPSXE CHRONO CROSS INSTALL#
I've tried to download the drivers from both the Toshiba site and the AMD site, but it's still not working.įor both sites you have to use "ATI install manager".that still states that my drivers are up to date.I have gone on with the procedure, but there aren't any changes, same error message on ePSXe.ĭamned automatic drivers installation programs.

You should download and install latest driver from AMD for your card (or from laptop vendor) Looks like build-in Windows driver which almost completely lacks OpenGL support. Sorry for my quite "AAARGH" English abilities, I've tried my best. If you need other informations, just tell me.įor example my Catalyst Control Center version is 2012.0918.260.3365 with pretty much all the games settings turned on.but before they were all turned off and it was the same nevertheless. Thank you in advance if you'll have the patience to answer me. So I'm here asking your ease is there something I can do? Or is this the better I can aim for? I hoped that with the new PC things would be more simple.but I was wrong I didn't test these settings with Vagrant Story or Xenogears but, even though I had tried it, I'm sure that it wouldn't have worked better. With Crono Cross it occurs the same problem with the pre-battle effect (but more slow.soooo slow.slow slow slow) and plus in battle when I try to attack, sometimes, for reasons unknown it blurs. These were the settings after hours of tries.FFVII isn't that bad now but it keeps on visualizing some little coloured pixels in the backgrounds, some lines during the clips and that damn battle vortex is extremely slow. So I tried with the Pete's D3D Driver 1.77 with these settings: I've serched the net for the same error message and so I tried to use the OpenGl Driver 1.77 but in every way I set it, it keeps on going veeery slow and with problems (tested with FFVII). It appears only the following error message:Īnd I haven't a clue about what happened or what I can do to fix it.
With the same settings I had on the previous laptop, with the same versions of ePSXe and video plugin the games don't work anymore. Toshiba TruBrite® HD TFT High Brightness display with 16 : 9 aspect ratio and LED backlightingĨ,192 (4,096 + 4,096) MB DDR3 RAM (1,600 MHz)ĪMD Radeon™ HD 7670M Graphics (2GB dedicated memory) Now there's the problem: the old laptop is gone, and the new one is a Toshiba L850-1L1:ģrd generation Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM Processor with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 With FFVII for example I still had problems especially with the vortex before the battle, problems totally solved, as I said above, with the 1.8 version and the latest opengl2 plugin. With the old ePSXe 1.6 I wasn't able to reach this level of perfection on the same machine. With my old laptop, an Acer Aspire 5620 with the ePSXe 1.8 and the video plugin Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 I managed to make them work perfectly with all the settings at max (filters excluded). I have the ePSXe 1.8, with which I'm trying basically to make these four games work: Hello, sorry if I bother you.I'm writing after hours of tries that didn't turn out very well. Pete`s Messageboard » PSX GPU plugins » It was all fine.until the new laptop (Radeon HD 7670M why do you hate me?) :-(
